About Workomap

Workomap is the SAP World Map: a community-built map of SAP professionals around the world, built by the people who put themselves on it. It maps where the SAP community lives and works — by city, role and SAP area — as members join, and gives every member a public professional profile page.

Who it's for

• SAP professionals who want to be discoverable for what they actually do — role, SAP areas, experience — beyond a generic profile.
• Anyone looking for SAP expertise in a place — recruiters, teams, peers; there is a page for recruiters and teams.

How privacy works

• Real counts: every number on the map is a count of published profiles, from a city's first member on. Nothing is estimated, and a hidden or deleted profile leaves every count at once.
• City-level only: Workomap never collects or shows an exact location.
• On the map: each city is drawn as a small face for its earliest member on the map, with their first name, and the newest members appear on the map's home — the same public facts their profiles already show.
• A profile shows what its owner published (name, city, SAP role, up to three SAP areas, the year they started with SAP, and an optional summary and LinkedIn link) and three facts Workomap adds: the month they joined, the Founding 100 label, and whether they were the first member mapped in their city or country. Members can hide or delete their profile at any time.

Who writes the guides

The SAP Career Guides are written by an SAP Finance & Treasury practitioner who has worked with SAP since 2008, on implementation projects and in support. They describe the work as it is done on real projects, not as a brochure describes it.

• How facts are checked: product names, maintenance dates and release rules are checked against SAP's own public sources — the SAP Help Portal, SAP Learning, the SAP News Center and SAP's published maintenance strategy — and the guides link to them where it matters.
• Dated facts say so: anything that changes with SAP's roadmap is written "as of" a month and year, and each guide shows the date it was last updated.
• No invented numbers: the guides publish no salary or rate figures that are not traceable to a public source, and no statistics without one.
• Corrections: if something is wrong or out of date, write to tan.gravam@gravam.com and it will be fixed.

Joining

Joining is free and takes about a minute: pick your city, your SAP role and up to three SAP areas, add the year you started with SAP, and sign in with Google. Your city is on the map from its first member.
