T-code of the day
One SAP transaction code. Four characters, six guesses, a new one every day.
How it works
- Type any four characters, letters or digits, and press Enter.
- A filled violet tile is the right character in the right place. A dashed amber tile is in the code, somewhere else. A grey tile is not in it.
- You are told the SAP area from the start, and what the code does after three guesses.
- Every answer is a classic transaction code people type into the SAP GUI command field.
- Stuck? F4 lists the possible entries for today's area, as the value help does in SAP. Solving without it is the harder game.
SAP transaction codes by area
A transaction code, or T-code, is the short code typed into the SAP GUI command field to open a transaction: VA01 creates a sales order, SE16 opens the Data Browser. These are the classic four-character codes the puzzle draws from, grouped by SAP area, each with what it does; each area's full list, with the longer codes, has a page of its own.
It is a working set, not a catalogue: an SAP system holds tens of thousands of transaction codes, and SE93 shows any of them. Most of these still work in SAP S/4HANA on premise and in the private cloud edition; where one was replaced, the line says so. The public cloud edition has no command field, and the same tasks are Fiori apps there.
