SAP Basis T-codes: the working list
SAP Basis is the technical administration of SAP systems: servers, users' sessions, jobs, transports and patches. This page lists the Basis transaction codes an administrator reaches for most, grouped by task.
Each line gives the code as you type it and what it does. Most of these codes work the same in ECC and S/4HANA, because both run on the same ABAP platform.

What changes in SAP S/4HANA?
The Basis transactions carry over to S/4HANA on-premise and private cloud, since both run on the ABAP platform. The database is always SAP HANA, so the database monitors show HANA instead of the old database. Public cloud has no command field: SAP runs the system, and customers work through Fiori apps instead of these codes.
44 codes. Any code's title can be checked in the system itself with SE93.
