SAP FI T-codes: the working list

SAP FI is the financial accounting module: the general ledger, payables, receivables, banks and fixed assets. This page lists the FI transaction codes consultants and accountants use most, grouped by task.

Each line gives the code as you type it and what it does. Codes that S/4HANA replaced say what to use instead.

What changes in SAP S/4HANA?

In S/4HANA the business partner (BP) replaces the separate customer and vendor transactions, so FD01, FK01 and their siblings lead to BP. All postings land in one Universal Journal, and cost elements become G/L accounts. Most posting and line item codes, such as FB50, FB60 and FBL3N, still work. Asset accounting moves to new asset accounting. Public cloud uses Fiori apps only.

41 codes. Any code's title can be checked in the system itself with SE93.
