SAP PM T-codes: the working list

SAP PM is the plant maintenance module: technical objects, notifications, maintenance orders and preventive maintenance plans. This page lists the PM transaction codes planners, technicians and consultants use most, grouped by task.

Each line gives the code as you type it and what it does. The usual flow is a notification (IW21), then an order (IW31), then a confirmation (IW41).

What changes in SAP S/4HANA?

Plant maintenance in S/4HANA is part of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and keeps the ECC codes for equipment, functional locations, notifications, orders and maintenance plans. SAP adds Fiori apps for technicians and planners, and IW21, IW31 and IP10 still work. Public cloud uses Fiori apps only.

31 codes. Any code's title can be checked in the system itself with SE93.
