SAP PP is the production planning module: bills of material, work centers, routings, MRP and production orders. This page lists the PP transaction codes planners, shop floor key users and consultants use most, grouped by task.
Each line gives the code as you type it and what it does. Process industries use process orders and master recipes, listed with the orders.

What changes in SAP S/4HANA?
In S/4HANA, MRP Live (MD01N) runs planning in the HANA database and is the main MRP run; classic MD01 is still there for some cases. Production orders, BOMs, routings and confirmations use the same codes as ECC. Embedded PP/DS can plan in finite detail inside S/4HANA. Public cloud uses Fiori apps only.
